My husband and I met over twenty years ago in High School. We grew up together and from that found that we are best friends. We reside in the home where my husband grew up and are now raising our five children here. We believe in strong family traditions and working together. We were married at home and began a family soon after. We have three beautiful daughters and two wonderful sons.
Our hope in life is to instill the importance of family, tradition, responsibility and loyalty in our children. We have always had a longing to own and operate a farm for ourselves. We decided to try our hand at having a "small" farm which includes 45 laying hens, 6 Fancy Bantam chickens and our dog - Ruby. We have continued to increase the size of our garden every time our family increased! Our current garden will be four 4X6 raised beds and a small herb garden. In the near future we may have a few other additions to the farm. Possibly a goat or two. I was raised on a farm with goats, chickens, rabbits, horses and a cow named "Bessie".
It seems to be in our nature to want to return to the things that we know and love. If we had more land we would surely fill it with all the animals and gardens we could. If you live in the Willington area and would like some fresh eggs or a fresh baked pie, please give us a call or stop by.
