Each meal is home-made & fresh, using the best local ingredients. They will be delivered frozen with heating instructions unless other arrangements are made. We will have a sign-up sheet at "The Connecticut Country Store" so make sure to stop by and reserve your next meal!

Easy on the Earth....... 

All of our "disposables" will be Earth Friendly in some way; we will be using compostable & recyclable containers for all our carry-out items, napkins by "Seventh Generation" and recycled beverage cups. We will do our part to keep it clean & green, please help us by recycling when you’re done. We will have a "Compostable" container available for all our containers! 

Hello Everyone-

Our Cuckoo Maran and Wellsummer Chicks are as big as our older hens and they have started to lay some eggs! I forgot just how quickly they grow.

They have begun to lay dark almost chocolate colored egg!

We had 25 Barred Rock chicks that were available for sale! We have sent our first few to live at their new home, just up the street. Now our last five have been spoken for!

If you are thinking about having a few of your own chickens, send us an email...we if we have enough people asking for some hens we may get some more chicks to sell!

Our House Portrait

We recently asked a very talented women, Catherine Holman, to paint a portrait of our home for us. We decided to go with the winter scene because it is our favorite time of the year. Please take a look and make sure to check out all of Catherine's other work, she is very talented!

It is such an honor to be part of such an amazing group of local farmers. We will keep you all posted on dates, times and events that will be going on at the market, so make sure to check in often! The market is held at the Nathan Hale Homestead every Sunday from 11:00 to 2:00. We will have an array of baked goods with us each week. We will have single serving and whole pies, cream rolls, coffee cakes, bundt cakes and many other items!! We will also have cookies, simple candies and seasonal drinks available.
